Harvest from the high sierra Biama vineyard, this light zin was made in a rosé style. Half the fruit was foot tread and half crushed and destemmed, then layered together for an overnight rest with the skins before being pressed off to stainless tank for fermentation. The early pressing gives this wine a full dark color in the glass but a light body with minimal tannins, making for a juicy and bright wine.
