2022 Primitivo Rosé
This primitivo rosé is more like a light red due to foot treading and resting on the skins and stems for 20 hrs during fermentation. Fruity without being jammy or sweet, and grounded by earthy clay and petrichor. Aromas of maraschino cherry, wet clay, red apple skin, mace and stewed strawberries. On the palate find mouthwatering strawberry, clay, juicy fruit leather and pink peppercorn with prickly acid and a medium body.
